All are invited to this free VHPS spring celebration of our Venersborg community heritage!  Saturday, April 25th, 10-3pm at our beloved schoolhouse! 24309 NE 209th St.

As a nod to the Scandinavian heritage of many of the pioneers to this area, the Venersborg Historic Preservation Society will be offering samples of dishes and desserts reflecting Swedish and Scandinavian cuisine! All for free, along with live music by our neighbors who recently moved to Venersborg and offered their talent to this event!

Local food vendors and artists will sell their creations such as baked goods, condiments, honey, glassware, floral, and Literary Leftovers will have a table of books and literature, including Bibles in Swedish translation!

Two baskets filled with tasty homemade delectables will be raffled for $1 per ticket or 8 tickets for $5, as a fundraiser for schoolhouse maintenance.  You don’t have to be present to win! More information is forthcoming, so mark your calendars now for welcoming spring into our neighborhood of friends and food lovers!
